Common questions
What is the typical size?
Most pergolas run 12x16 to 16x20 feet. We size them based on the space and the use — sitting area, dining area, or full outdoor room.
Can you attach a pergola to my house?
Yes. We use a proper ledger connection with flashing. Attached pergolas need to be coordinated carefully to avoid water issues at the house wall.
Do pergolas need permits?
In most Middle Tennessee municipalities, yes — especially attached structures. We handle permit coordination as part of the project.
